Information about the Datacenter (NOC), we use:
In Clifton, NJ, a few miles from New York City. This new facility boasts enormous
growth potential with capabilities of up to 55,000 sq ft of pure datacenter
floor space, and ease of access to backbone providers. Currently, the facility
incorporates over 7,500 sq ft of completed raised floor data center space, along
with 4,500 sq ft of corporate office space which includes a front reception
area, conference rooms, and ample space for employees. The new datacenter has
been carefully planned from it's inception to overcompensate for such factors as
cooling, generators, UPS's, backup generators, fire suppression, and much, much
more. The new facility has been set in place with multiple 20 ton AC units and
double pre-action fire suppression system.
Connectivity:
Currently uses MCI and Above.net as its backbone providers, and is adding
Level3 and Global Crossing in the near future. The NOC (Network Operations Center),
offers fast, reliable connectivity to the internet via an MCI OC48 Full Sonnet Ring
with the additon of dual OC192's in the upcoming future.
NOC uses quality network hardware and have
technicians working around the clock, using such technologies as ATM and BGP
dynamic routing to ensure that all systems run efficiently, with significant
investments in equipment from major vendors such as Cisco and Lucent. With
Network connections to multiple backbone providers, and peering with many
carriers on a regional and international basis, allows to easily reach remote
networks even in the case where a NAP may be unhealthy, or when a specific
backbone connection is down. It also allows to make intelligent routing
decisions; All of NOC core nodes employ SONET networks, which essentially
provides a dual-redundant, counter-rotating ring technology, and in the event of
a fiber cut, the SONET will automatically heal itself. East Cost NOC also
divides our circuits among several telecommunications providers, such as
Verizon, MFS/Worldcom, and Adelphia.
Lastly, the NOC's professionally trained staff works 24/7 to ensure that the network
is operating at the highest level of optimum state and security in an climate
controlled enviroment with uninterrupted power.
